Alicia has been involved in Natural Medicine for many years, but was originally trained in the Arts, holding a degree in Advertising & Design. In 1988, she received qualifications to become a Holistic Massage Technician, covering wholistic & sports massage, nutrition, anatomy & physiology from Mueller College in San Diego, California. After moving to the UK in 1989, Alicia then qualified as a Western Herbalist & Colonic Hydrotherapist in 1993 through the College of Herbs & Natural Healing. She was in the last class trained personally by Dr. Richard Schulze, who was himself a student of Dr Bernard Jensen & Dr. John Christopher who was the founder of the College of Herbs & Natural Healing. Alicia ran her first practice in Kent for four years, and then moved to Wiltshire in 2000. She has run her present clinic in Marlborough since then. In addition to the colonic & herbal work, she has also spent 6 years working with a Vega machine, a non-invasive method for testing food intolerances. She is qualified to practise the healing method called VortexHealing, a divine healing art originating from the Merlin lineage. Finally, she is a qualified Iridologist, training with the well known Western Herbalist and Iridologist Peter Jackson-Main through his school, Cambridge Holistic Iridology. (Iridology allows you to study the bodies’ strengths, weaknesses and personality traits by examination of the iris). Alicia is an accredited member of the AMH – the Association of Master Herbalists, & is a member of its council. She is also a member of I-ACT – the International Association of Colonic Therapy.
