Matt was born and raised in North Wales, and spent 16 years working as a physicist in industry. After suffering a sporting injury to his back which was successfully treated by McTimoney chiropractic, he was inspired to train as a chiropractor. 

He completed a four year training course at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Oxfordshire, and was accepted onto the statutory register of the General Chiropractic Council. 

In addition to thorough training in the examination and adjustment techniques of McTimoney chiropractic, the course also covered the theory and practice necessary for assessment of the general health status of the patient. Matt’s particular interests within chiropractic include the treatment of sports injuries.

Matt is also a qualified Remedial Massage therapist. Away from the Clinic, he enjoys listening to music, cycling and walking the Welsh hills.
