Veronica qualified in Traditional Chinese medicine Acupuncture, at Salford University, graduating with a BSc (hon) degree and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, (BAcC) the UK’s largest and most respected professional body for the practice of acupuncture. Following a successful 20 year career in the pharmaceutical industry in sales and management, she has taken her wide experience of western medical conditions and their treatment and working with people’s health into a holistic, person centred arena. Veronica’s motivation is to enable people to regain some control over managing and improving their health and wellbeing through traditional Chinese acupuncture, in a caring, empathetic and professional environment. Many of the common conditions we treat like: depression, anxiety and mucoscletal pain and area’s where the NHS, with constraints on time and resource sometimes struggle to deliver for patients. Holistic, patient centred traditional Chinese acupuncture offers a different complementary approach to help address these needs. . Useful websites:

Unlike western acupuncture which treats the symptoms, TCA looks at the root cause of the patient’s condition and treats the root as well as the symptoms. As a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), you can be assured of the highest standards of practice and your practitioner will design a treatment plan specifically tailored to you as an individual. It is now increasingly accepted that acupuncture is the most frequently used form of complementary medicine in the UK and with a very good safety record, safely treats a wide range of conditions.
