I was first introduced to homeopathy in 1983 by a friend, whilst I was training to be a nurse. I then began to self prescribe for minor ailments and became so fascinated with the approach and the results I experienced that I eventually embarked on a professional training course. 

For over 25 years, my interest in holistic health and passion for homeopathy has been at the centre of my life. I studied with The College of Practical Homeopathy for 4 years, graduating in 2002 and regularly attend additional training seminars. 

I have been working as a homeopath in the North Wales area since then. I am registered with the ‘Alliance of Registered Homeopaths’; a professional body that binds its members by a professional code of ethics and practice. I regularly update my learning with further training in homeopathy and holistic health approaches.

In 2003 I trained with Cruse Bereavement Care on their Bereavement Counselling Course and worked as a volunteer with them. 

I am currently enjoying being part of the team at Bangor University Psychology department on the Staying Well After Depression research study. In conjunction with Oxford University, this study is exploring how mindfulness meditation and cognitive therapy may reduce the risk of recurrence of depression in people with a history of depression. 

My other interests include Nonviolent Communication (Marshall Rosenberg) which I have been learning and practising with a small group since 2006 following participation in a foundation course. I find this approach helpful in both my work as a homeopath and in my personal life.
